The Wisconsin Grief Education Center provides educational presentations to business and organizations in the areas of grief, trauma, loss, and healing.

The presentation style ranges from didactic lecturing to more informal and interactive conversations.

Presentations place greater emphasis on life and living, hope and healing than death and dying.

When not working with the bereaved, Dean’s second passion is as an award-winning fine art photographer whose work has appeared in books, magazines, art galleries, and billboards. Laptop projected digital photography lends quality and a visual serenity to support the current thinking and research on a given topic or your area of interest. Content born of academic strength is coupled with real-life anecdotes culled from 20 years of working with the bereaved, creating presentations that are uplifting, supportive, educational, and long remembered. Your employees or association members will learn how to be supportive of others who are grieving, as well as gain insights into their own losses that influence their daily interactions with others. Serious content is paired with beautiful images that hold viewers attention and positively impact learning, awareness, and retention.
